During training, you can learn to write an individual business plan, understand the basic of managing a small firm, and implementing a marketing plan. Classes include Business Mathematics, Principles of Management, Introduction to Entrepreneurship, and Small Business Management.
What small business managers do
As a small business owner or manager, you run the show, which means you need to wear many hats. In most situations, you are your own HR manager, meaning you’re in charge of hiring your own employees. In addition, you’re in charge of developing the overall business plan as well as marketing. More importantly, you are responsible for customer service.
